Bryan K. Owens
CEO, The Owens Group International
Bryan is founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Owens Group International, which includes NetTracer’s software and service businesses. An experienced entrepreneur, Bryan’s expertise in baggage tracing began in 1989 when he developed BagNet®, which later sold to Southwest Airlines. Bryan founded Net Tracer, Inc. in 2004 and continues to provide strategic oversight to the development of the airline industry's best-of-class baggage tracing system. NetTracer is a member of The Owens Group International family of companies.
Originally from Alabama, Bryan graduated from Samford University. Bryan is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner-President Management Program. His business interests have been the subject of numerous media features including The Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Times of London, The BBC, Fox News, and Good Morning America.
Bryan is a strong advocate of faith, family and free enterprise. In addition to being on the board of The Center for A Just Society, he serves on the board of the Georgia Family Council. He has been married to his wife, Sharon, for 26 years, and is the father, coach and leadership developer of three sons. Bryan and his family live in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Vice President, The Owens Group International
Caleb has been with The Owens Group International since 2004 and has served as Vice President of Finance for the company since 2010. With over 17 years of experience in financial and operational leadership across multiple companies within The Owens Group International, Caleb manages the day to day and strategic functions in finance and accounting for NetTracer. Caleb has a passion for interpreting the financial results and offering key analysis and general management input to the CEO, Bryan Owens, and the executive management team. Caleb’s depth of experience in finance and operations and more specifically within the service recovery business makes him a seasoned leader and key asset to NetTracer and The Owens Group International.
Originally from the small town of Skyline, Alabama, Caleb attended Athens State College in Athens, AL on academic scholarship, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1999. Caleb continues to be a lifelong learner by seeking ongoing learning opportunities in the areas of leadership, finance, and general management.
Caleb and his wife, Katie, of 18 years have three daughters and live in Skyline, Alabama. They are both active in the community as Katie serves the local elementary as 2nd Grade teacher and is actively involved in leadership at their local church. Caleb coaches youth basketball, is actively involved in church leadership, and recently completed a 3-year term at the local Chamber of Commerce serving the last two years as the Treasurer.
Sr. Director of Product Management, NetTracer
Rob joined NetTracer in late 2015 as Sr. Director of Product Management. Rob has over 15 years of industry experience with various domestic US and international airlines, in addition to the vendor community. Over the past 8 years, Rob has led product management groups within ARINC, NCR, and SITA; and he has been actively involved in various industry organizations such as IATA and ACI, most recently being elected to the position of Vendor Representative for the IATA Passenger Experience Management Group (PEMG).
Originally from the UK, Rob has lived and worked on both sides of the Atlantic. He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK, with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. Rob and his wife, Meghan, have been married over 5 years and have three children. They currently reside in Cumming, Georgia outside of Atlanta.
Director of Airline Operations, BagCentral
Peter joined the NetTracer team in September of 2014 to launch and lead the BagCentral business unit. Between 2007 and 2014, he was a consultant for The Owens Group International and instrumental in the launch of our Lost & Found Central business unit. Peter first met Bryan Owens when leading the Central Baggage organization at Northwest Airlines.
Originally from Minnesota, Peter attended the University of Denver, where he received a degree in Marketing. He then returned to Minnesota where he began his career in the airline industry.
Married 26 years to his wonderful wife, Lori, the Hertzke’s relocated to Peachtree City, Georgia, in 2014. Peter is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time outdoors, and most of all, spending time with Lori.
Director of Operations, Lost & Found Central
Craig joined Lost & Found Central in January of 2012 as Operations Manager and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2014. With over 30 years in management and operations roles, Craig directs all aspects of the daily operation and serves as a subject matter expert to customers for all things Lost and Found.
A native of Alabama, Craig attended the University of Alabama Huntsville and graduated from Troy University where he achieved both the Provost and Chancellor’s honor lists. Craig has a passion for leadership and continues to promote responsible leadership practices at work, home and in his church.
Craig and his wife of 35 years, Janice, have three daughters, 3 sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. He has served as Chairman of the Diaconate Board at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church since its founding in 2013.
